I started Formula Swiss in 2013 with a simple ambition: to make a positive difference in people’s everyday lives through products from nature.
Since then, all five members of our family have worked in the business. We have chosen to remain family owned and independent, so we can make decisions with the next generation in mind.
That outlook still shapes our work: care for what we grow, keep improving what we make, and be open about how we test it.

Our work begins with hemp grown in Switzerland. From cultivation to the finished product, each stage contributes to the quality you receive.
Grow with care
We cultivate indoors, outdoors, and in greenhouses, following organic principles without pesticides or artificial fertilisers.
Extract and refine
We use supercritical CO₂ extraction, followed by refinement and formulation, to make our hemp oils.
Keep improving
We review our formulations and production methods as we learn. Solar and hydro power supply the energy for our production.

We publish Certificates of Analysis so you can inspect the reported cannabinoid results. Our test-results page includes example reports for selected products, with a product name, report number, analysis date, and testing method.
To find the report for your bottle, check the batch number on its label and follow its QR code, where provided. If you cannot find a matching report, contact our team with the product name and batch number. An example report may cover a different batch.

Better understanding begins with research.
We support cannabinoid research at the University of Bologna’s Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences. A 2020 paper by Agnese Stanzani, Professor Roberto Chiocchetti, and colleagues explicitly acknowledges a grant from Formula Swiss AG, Switzerland.
The study examined cannabinoid-related receptors in cat gastrointestinal tissues. It contributes to understanding cannabinoid biology; it was not a clinical trial of a finished Formula Swiss product.

Family owned, with our Swiss companies based in Zug and Schwyz. Our team is here to answer your questions.
Our companies
Formula Swiss AG is based in Zug, and Formula Swiss Wholesale AG in Schwyz. Formula Swiss Europe ApS in Denmark handles our trade within the European Union.
Our group also includes Formula Swiss Medical ApS and a joint venture with Zonaverde in Romania. Medical cannabis development is separate from the products sold on this website.
Our approach to sustainability
We use renewable electricity from solar and hydro power for production, efficient LED lighting for indoor cultivation, and no added artificial CO₂ in our grow rooms.
Our industry community
We participate in the European hemp community through EIHA, IG Hanf, MEDCAN, and Arge Canna. As shareholders in the EIHA Novel Food Consortium, we help fund its research programme.
